International Assignment

Marco Polo is special program of recruiting and developing people at SE. In oder to attract, train and develop young talents within the organization, we are looking for potential candidates for several positions. The selected candidates will be both learning and working on international assignment in Schneider Electric group (America and Singapore) for 6 months to 2 years. You will have the opportunity to develop skills and gain experience in actual jobs oversea and eventually return to your home country (Vietnam) where you will apply your knowledge with a higher level of responsibility.

 

 

 

 

 

Application Engineer, Category:  Technical Support

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • This position is responsible for the interpretation of customer specifications, drawings, and power system requirements as they apply to Medium Voltage Switchgear and PLCs.
  • Issues concise instructions via engineering systems to electrical/mechanical design and materials.
  • Developing electrical bill of material, elevation views, layout views, control schematics and elementary drawings for customer specified equipment.
  • Interfaces with field sales, customers, development, manufacturing, order services and materials during order cycle process.

 

Requirements:

  • University degrees in Electrical Engineering or Automation
  • 1-3 years experience in power systems and protection
  • Have experience in AutoCAD and PC based software (Excel, Word, etc.) is required
  • Ability to use and interpret company and industry codes and standards (ANSI, UL, NEMA, IEEE, etc.)
  • Must be well organized, capable of working on multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required for use with internal and external customers
  • Understand company’s products and competitors is an advantage
  • Good English, TOIEC score above 800
  • Must be presentable, commercial and customer-oriented
  • Can take the lead
  • Eagerness and ability to learn 
  • Teamwork
