International Assignment
Marco Polo is special program of recruiting and developing people at SE. In oder to attract, train and develop young talents within the organization, we are looking for potential candidates for several positions. The selected candidates will be both learning and working on international assignment in Schneider Electric group (America and Singapore) for 6 months to 2 years. You will have the opportunity to develop skills and gain experience in actual jobs oversea and eventually return to your home country (Vietnam) where you will apply your knowledge with a higher level of responsibility.
Mechanical Designer, Category: Technical Support
Key responsibilities
- This position is accountable for investigating and procuring all data required developing
- complex designs.
- Prepare sketches and/or schematic diagrams.
- Works independently,exercises latitude and independent judgment to develop designs. Prepares accurate layout, detail and assembly drawings.
- May review work of Designers on some phases of design.
Essential functions
- Confer with design originator, appropriate engineering and other cross functional personnel in finalizing design concepts.
- Prepare preliminary sketches or diagrams reflecting basic design concept. Make mathematical calculations and adjustments in drawings and specifications.
- Recommend changes or modifications as appropriate to meet manufacturability, functionality and measurability requirements.
- Prepare and oversee final layout, detail, assembly drawings, and other required documentation.
- Create computer models of the product design concept.
Additional responsibilities
- Generates and maintains organized database and/or B.O.M., change reports and/or other documentation.
- Prepares and maintains schedule estimates.
Requirements:
- University degrees in Mechanical or Electrical
- 3-5 years experience in relevant job
- Supervision required: Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required for use with internal and external customers
- Good English, TOIEC above 800points
- Must be presentable, commercial and customer-oriented
- Can take the lead
- Eagerness and ability to learn
- Teamwork
