                                  Sales Engineer - Utilities Distribution (Hanoi)

                                   
                                   

                                  Key responsibilities:

                                  • Deploy sales activities to detect Utility Distribution projects
                                  • Bring Schneider solutions directly to customers and understand customers’ needs
                                  • Build and secure relationship with potential customers (EPC, contractors and consultants & end users)
                                  • Need for customer mapping to identify the main players and their structure based on market segments
                                  • Identify opportunities for Schneider solution
                                  • Implement go-to-market strategies to penetrate customers and find opportunities selling solution and packages for Utility Distribution projects
                                  • Maintain long-term relationship with potential customers
                                  • Proactively identify, qualify & follow up new opportunities
                                  • Respond to customers’ queries, co-ordinate with back office to prepare quotation
                                  • Deliver updated information and prepare proposal for Schneider customers
                                  • Follow up on proposals from contract negotiation to closure
                                  • Report clearly on all activities as and when required

                                  Requirements:

                                  • University degrees – Electrical Engineer
                                  • 2 years experience in working with relevant end-users, consultants, contractors
                                  • Good understanding of market needs and market players
                                  • Specific knowledge: Medium Voltage electrical equipment, protection & control
                                  • Understand company’s products
                                  • Have knowledge of project sales and project management
                                  • Good command of spoken and written English. Computer literate and presentation skills
                                  • Attention to detail, self-starters, ability to learn, good communication skills and result-oriented
                                  • Able to work under pressure and willing to travel within assigned territory and overseas
